Still in the light of Zero Stigma on HIV/AIDS funded by Gilead Sciences, the Mike Yanou Foundation’s team decided to meet our audience where they feel most comfortable – at home.
We took a door-to-door approach, educating community members about the importance of reducing HIV/AIDS stigma. To amplify our message, we distributed visibility materials, including stickers with a concise overview of HIV/AIDS stigma reduction.
The response was overwhelming. Some community members were deeply impacted by the information, while others enthusiastically displayed the stickers on their walls, creating a ripple effect of awareness.
For those who couldn’t meet us at the designated spot, we adapted our approach, ensuring that everyone received the vital information.
Through this outreach effort, we made a lasting impact, empowering community members to spread awareness and promote understanding.
