A major takeaway during our community conversation on substances in Buea was to emphasize preventive measures for reducing substance consumption. As an organisation, one strategy adopted by us is awareness raising in schools and communities. The Mike Yanou Foundation staff in April 2024 were present at Government High School Bolifamba mile 16 Buea Cameroon to create awareness on the issue of drug abuse and illicit trafficking. During this session, We also distributed over 50 IEC materials and educated 60 students. The take-home was to say no to drugs and yes to life
