About Mike Yanou Foundation

The Mike Yanou Foundation is a non-profit, civil society organization established in 2016 and officially registered in 2020 under Registration No. 171G.37/c84/VOLI/SAAJP. Based in Buea, GRA Extension in the South West Region of Cameroon, the Foundation envisions prosperous communities anchored by functional families where every individual has the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and dignified life.

We are dedicated to promoting mental health, gender equality, and inclusive community development through rights-based and community-centered approaches. Our mission is to improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities by providing comprehensive mental health and psychosocial support, while empowering marginalized groups particularly women, youth, persons with disabilities, and caregivers to thrive.
