Celebrating World Mental Health Day Commemoration with Africa CDC

Don’t Miss This Opportunity! World Mental Health Day Commemoration Webinar

Africa CDC is hosting a webinar commemorating World Mental Health Day 2024 and the Executive Director for the Mike Yanou Foundation, Mme Nicholine Awumbom Musi is one of the speakers at the webinar.

The official theme of World Mental Health Day this year is “It is time to prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.” Africa CDC through the Mental Health Leadership programme will use this theme to raise awareness of the mental health challenges experienced by our healthcare heroes (public health practitioners, frontline healthcare workers, clinical practitioners and community-based healthcare workers) by amplifying the voices of the future and current healthcare workforce. MHLP will be used as a tool and base for creating more advocacy targeting the mental health workforce in all tiers of the health workforce.

This Mental Health Day commemoration webinar seeks to elevate the voices of the healthcare workforce, providing a platform for them to share their experience, interventions and challenges to shed light on the importance of mental health in the workplace.
