May is a powerful month—one that reminds us of the importance of holistic well-being, inclusion, and empowerment. At the Mike Yanou Foundation, we are embracing the significance of International Day of the Boy Child, Menstrual Hygiene Day, and Mental Health Awareness Month with a series of meaningful activities that bring together boys, girls, families, and communities.
From Kumbo in Bui to Mbengwi in Momo, Mbalangi in Meme, and Buea in Fako, we are creating safe spaces for learning, expression, and growth. Through awareness-raising sessions, educative talks, poetry, drama, football matches, and more, we are fostering healthy masculinity, promoting positive role models, and championing mental health and psychosocial support for all.
Our mission is to engage, equip, and empower boys and men, ensuring that individuals, families, and communities thrive.
Join us as we raise our voices for equality, respect, and opportunity for all
