Inclusion of Men with Disabilities in Promoting Sustainable Communities

Every December 3rd, we join the world in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This day reminds us of the ongoing need for inclusivity, access, and equality, values that drive the mission of the Mike Yanou Foundation.

This year’s theme “ Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future”, focuses on how society can foster inclusivity for people with disabilities by removing physical, technological, and attitudinal barriers. This enables equal access to opportunities, promoting full participation and respect in all areas of life.

Mike Yanou Foundation in partnership with M3AF Africare Association held a workshop with male family heads with disabilities in Bamenda 3 North West Region to engage them on GBV prevention, the inclusion and participation of male family heads with disability in promoting sustainability communities.
